An incredible display to highlight a public airport.
With its rich architectural heritage, Chicago takes skyscrapers seriously. So when a glassy, 40-story Helmut Jahn-designed tower built-in 1980 underwent rebranding to attract new tenants, the end result had to be worthy of distinction.
A revitalization of the building’s lobby and street-level exterior called for enhancing the artistic nature of the structure. In keeping with that intent, Plexineon White 2X Series fixtures were chosen to highlight two new entrance canopies, each situated along a different downtown street. Striped and streamlined, Plexineon provides an accent that’s consistent with the clean, contemporary lines of 55 W. Monroe St.

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is the largest global development institution in the world. A member of the World Bank Group, IFC’s stated mission is to create jobs, raise living standards, and build a better future for millions of people by offering investment, advisory, and asset management services to encourage private sector development in more than 100 developing countries.
Looking toward its own future, IFC recently renovated the interior of its 1,100,000-square-foot headquarters in Washington, D.C. Nearly 2,000 staff members work in the triangular-shaped building that is located just blocks from the White House. Among the areas upgraded was the 18,000-square-foot cafeteria, which encompasses a kitchen, as well
as a serving and dining area.
Modernizing the space included installing iLight Plexineon White 1X 3500K fixtures as a design element. The LED fixtures accent the vertical lines of structural columns that are located in the middle of what is now a more welcoming and contemporary common area.

For more than 70 years, a large, neon sign has served as a proud beacon for the San Diego neighborhood of Hillcrest. Prominently stretching across a main thoroughfare, it spells out “Hillcrest” and serves as a backdrop for an annual summer festival.
The original sign was presented to the community in 1940 as a gift from female shopkeepers, and it was refurbished in 1984. But it was recently retired and replaced by a replica: a new sign created with iLight Plexineon White Series fixtures. The result is a sign that looks like yesteryear while offering all the benefits of innovative LED technology.
Even before stepping out of their cars, guests arriving at the new Resorts World Casino New York City get a sense of excitement.
Stretching from the casino entrance to shelter guests getting in and out of vehicles, a gracious porte-cochere glows with changing hues of saturated color.
The effect is created by sleek strips of iLight’s Hypnotica iS Color Changing Series Fixtures, which are mounted under the canopy. The resulting moving light hints at what’s to come inside the Big Apple’s first casino, from live thoroughbred racing to video slot machines, electronic games and luxury amenities.
