Located in the heart of the historic Old Port district in Portland, Maine, a new hotel defies the traditional brick architecture around it — instead nodding to the city’s cultural sophistication and growing stature as a tourist destination.
Sitting on the waterfront, with restaurants, bars, and shops right at its doorstep, the seven-story, 130-room Hyatt Place Portland-Old Port hotel is a virtual skyscraper, given its surroundings. And with its faceted-glass corner entrance contradicting the rest of the building — wrapped in modernistic, steel-gray sheath — the structure itself is a study in contrasts: sleek against shimmer.
The theme continues atop the penthouse level and draping down one side of the building. The source there is a random pattern of horizontal Plexineon White fixtures that appear as dashes of light by night and added adornment by day.
Ever since the Minnesota Twins unveiled their new home in 2010, Target Field has been lauded for its fan-friendly, innovative design—including being named best stadium in the country by ESPN Magazine.
As part of that design, the award-winning “Target Plaza” outside the right field gate is an active and engaging pedestrian area thanks to elements like iLight’s Plexineon White 1X Series fixtures.

A new look and a new name — that’s what the home of the Denver Broncos got when sporting goods company Sports Authority took over naming rights for the NFL team’s stadium in 2011.
Now Sports Authority Field at Mile High, the 10-year-old, 76,000-seat arena underwent a facelift as part of the rebranding, the centerpiece of which is a prominent horizontal line of iLight Plexineon Red Series fixtures outlining the curve of the stadium’s uppermost edge.

In the Las Vegas metropolitan area, every aspect of a new rapid transit system has been designed to entice riders and challenge common preconceptions about public transportation.
One example is the series of transit stations along the first route completed: the Strip & Downtown Express, running from downtown Las Vegas through the Vegas Strip. Featuring distinctive wave-shaped rooflines edged with iLight’s Plexineon Blue Series fixtures, the 15 stations help riders recognize the route and brand the system as modern and appealing.
